This collaboration with public libraries will create broader access of early childhood resources for parents, schools, and for all EEC initiatives, including the Massachusetts Family Network Program (MFN), the Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP), Reach Out and Read, Community Partnerships for Children programs (CPCs), Child Care Resource and Referral agencies (CCR&Rs), and individual early education and care programs, including informal caregivers and Family Child Care (FCC) systems. The contract will now fund public libraries to facilitate the availability and accessibility of early childhood materials. The Early Childhood Resource Center Project is currently under a state of transition.
